Traffic Marshal Training

TRAFFIC MARSHAL TRAINING:

Responsible for directing large vehicles, traffic marshals act as the eyes and ears of the driver. This important role requires impeccable attention-to-detail and risk awareness – skills we teach in this comprehensive course.

OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the course, delegates will have the confidence and capability to safely direct traffic on a construction site. They will learn the various signals and be able to present them clearly to vehicle and crane operators, securing the smooth running of the site.

DURATION:

This half-day course will be held by our experienced tutors.

• What is traffic marshal (or banksman)?
• The duties of a traffic marshal
• Accidents and injuries
• Safe procedures
• Complex hand signals

ASSESSMENT / CERTIFICATION:

At the end of the course, delegates will be assessed using a multiple-choice exam paper. Once they pass, they’ll be awarded a QST certificate that’s valid for three years.
