New year, new skills: invest in your employees with our 2019 Site Management Safety Training Scheme

Cupboards stocked. Tree up. Presents (nearly) bought.  Christmas is just around the corner, and it’ll soon be time to start preparing for 2019. So now’s the time to enrol your employees on our CITB 5-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), starting on 14th January 2019. This Christmas, give your staff the gift of essential health and safety skills, and ensure a successful start to the new year.

Organising, monitoring and administering staff is a big responsibility. That’s why it’s important for site managers, agents and supervisors to have the tools they need to successfully run a site – as well as stay up-to-date on the best industry practices and legislation. Our five-day course will provide your staff with vital skills, as well as that all-important CITB Site Safety Plus certificate.

Our SMSTS enhances productivity, efficiency and competency – not just of the qualified individual, but of the whole site. Many employers require their site managers to have this qualification, as it helps them run a safer workplace while demonstrating a higher level of skill to contractors and clients.

Our course will provide your staff with a thorough understanding of vital on-site health and safety issues. As well as covering the basics, we get them to consider their moral and social responsibilities. This element of the training ensures they’re not simply being told information – it encourages them to take it in and apply it to their day-to-day duties.

At Quality Safety Training, we only employ the most experienced CITB tutors who know the industry inside-out – so you can be sure your team are receiving the highest-quality training that will help them become fully compliant. By the end of the course, they will know all the factors they need to consider, from health and safety to welfare and the environment.

We always strive to ensure delegates are as informed and equipped as possible. That’s why we continually revise our course so it’s in-line with new legislation and the best industry practices. The qualification is valid for five years, and you can renew it before it expires by booking our refresher course.  If it expires before you book the refresher, you’ll need to take the full course again.

Visit our website for further information about the course.

Start the new year right by enrolling your employees on our course, kick-starting on 14th January 2019.
